Mallika Sherawat Turns Playback Singer For Her Film ‘Hiss’

It’s true and news reports confirm that Mallika (she had posed with a snake at the Cannes film festival) has donned the singers cap for her upcoming movie Hisss. The movie has been in news for the past year and amid sneak peeks, twitter updates from the actress herself, there isn’t much known about the film.

Currently, the actress is in Mumbai for the shoot of her next movie, Double Dhamaal. However prior to landing in Mumbai last weekend, Mallika crooned for two songs as part of the film’s music promotion. Julian Lennon, son of John Lennon, has composed and arranged the first song. German composer Alexander Von Bubenheim, who has also done the background score for the film, has composed the second song.

Scheduled for an October release, directed by Jennifer Lynch, co-starring Irrfan Khan, Jeff Doucette and Divya Dutta, ‘Hisss’ is about a snake woman whose mate is captured by an American hunter and she decides to take revenge.

The audio launch is scheduled at a grand event in Mumbai in September. Stay tuned in for this one. Source
