Ayesha Takia is the famous actress in Indian Film Industry. She was born and grown-up in Maharashtra, India. She belongs to a mixed family. She was among the list of Top Ten for India’s 50 Most Desirable Women Alive in the year 2006.

Not many TV viewers will be able to associate the “I am a Complan Girl” to the latest Bollywood craze and heart-breaker – Arian Ayesha Takia.

Ayesha was born in Bombay on April 10th 1986. Her dad’s name is Nishit, a Gujerati, while her mom is part Maharashtrian and part Caucasian (British).

Ayesha had never let her lack of speaking Hindi fluently come in her way. A go-getter, she is no stranger to the silver screen and has faced cameras even at the tender age of 4. Her continuity was what got her noticed and the makers of ‘Socha Na Tha’ approached her in 2004 to play the lead role opposite Dharmendra’s nephew, Abhay Deol, which she accepted.

Career:
Ayesha Takia grew up in Chembur, Mumbai. Her father, Nishit Takia is a Gujarati while her mother Faridah is half British and half Maharashtrian. Ayesha studied at St Anthony’s High School, Chembur. Her younger sister is Natasha.

Ayesha Takia has appeared in the famous I’m a Complan Boy, I’m a Complan Girl campaign alongwith Shahid Kapoor. Later, she was part of the music video, Falguni Pathak’s Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye, when she was just fifteen years old. Ayesha’s appearance in the music video, Shake It Daddy, when she was sixteen, brought her the break in the film industry.
She signed a contract for Socha Na Tha and then for Taarzan: The Wonder Car. But the latter was released first and can be called her debut film.
While Ayesha has acted in a number of films, many of them have done quite badly at the box office. However, the actress was highly praised for her work in Dor (2006), a small budget film in which she played the role of a young widowed Rajasthani woman living in a traditional joint family.
