Small Girl Catches ‘Idiot’ Aamir Khan in Mahabalipuram
Aamir Khan has been traveling in disguise around the country to promote his latest film “3-Idiots”, and was finally recognized by a small girl. Aamir is very popular for his unique ways of promoting films. This time he has roamed in seven selective cities in disguise to promote his film. “3-Idiots” is ready for release on 25th December.
Aamir shared his experience of this “disguise tour”. He said, “The last place were I visited was Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu, where a small girl recognized me, but I was not able to make friends with her”. The actor added, “For tomorrow’s film premier Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra had invited Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachhan and others. But I invited only my 24 friends, I made during my journey across the country”.
The actor continued as saying, “Every time we do same things to promote our film, but this time I felt some unique idea should be adopted for the marketing of ‘3 Idiots’”. Reportedly, the actor has visited different temples and walked the streets like a common man in ordinary clothes and a little disguise at Mahabalipuram.
Varanasi was the first destination in his promotional tour. Because it is his mother Zeenat’s birth place. Reportedly, Aamir’s mother used to live in Khwaja Manzil of Tiliya Nala. The actor has expressed desire to buy the building from its present owner, where his mother used to live in her childhood.
“3-Idiots” is a much awaited film of the year. The film is directed by Raj Kumar Hirani of “Munnabhai” fame. The movie has been produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Aamir Khan plays a character of an engineering student along with R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi. Kareena Kapoor plays Aamir Khan’s love interest in the movie.
